The Gathering
- Daily Deviation Feature - 2006-06-13
This work was finished approximately in 40 hours - 24 hours of it is final render on Vue. After creation of the landscape - I started to work on the final render result of the scene with Photoshop. Planets, clouds painted on it - also I've done some colors corrections and filters to create the mood. I hope you enjoy... I believe one day I can see the gathering of the planets in the sky and then I never feel alone again... |

I am so glad to have some spare time to use Vue D'esprit again. I planned a scene this time - and this is my first attempt to use eco-system on a planned area. I am happy with the result. Castle modelled by me on Cinema 4D and textured on Vue. Scene contains 1.656.090.648 polygons. Radiosity atmosphere without any additional lights. Rendered in 8 hours and 58 minutes on Broadcast quality. I hope you enjoy as I am. Comments and suggestions are welcome as always. Thanks for viewing... |

Silent Hills
Two nights of hard work without any pre-planing. I used two eco-systems. Theres 1.112.819.044 polygons on the scene. Rendered in 2 hours. No postwork on this - only a bit of color correction. About the sky... I painted it on Photoshop with the help of a reference photo one month ago for a space project but it never finished - then I decided to use it here. |

Windhamhill - The Wishing Tree
Based on my previous Windhamhill scene. I wasn't so happy with the previous scene - and decided to change the mountain scape. During this - when I heard the song "The Wishing Tree" from Seamus McGuire - it's a fascinating instrumental piece - and I opened the plant editor and made this tree from a standart cherry tree model of Vue. Final render took 37 hours to complete with 4500x3000 pixels. Postwork done in Photoshop. Scene contains 3 lights, 1,687,631,610 polys and 4 ecosystems. The tree texture is three mixed materials with bump-map based material distrubiton. |

Scene contains 245 objects, 2 lights, 1,055,024,650 polygons. Final render took 18 hours. After this I've done the postwork I mentioned above. |
